Osayi Backs Uzoho To Shine At 2023 AFCON

Doma United goalkeeper, Kingdom Osayi has thrown his support behind embattled Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho to shine at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Recall that the trio of Uzoho, Olorunleke Ojo and Stanley Nwabili are in fierce battle for Super Eagles number one spot. 

According to reports from Cote d'Ivoire, the trio did put up a good showing during the team’s training session at the Ecole Nationale de la Police on Thursday.

Osayi, while urging Uzoho to shine said: "I don't see failure in you, I see possibilities, I see a winner. It's time to shine."

Uzoho was number one choice during the qualifiers but his position is under threat following his poor displays in recent outings for the Super Eagles.
