Despite missing out on the doubleheader friendly against Canada, the manager of Nigeria's Super Falcons Randy Waldrum has made it clear that aome of the key players of the team will be back for the African Women Cup of Nations, BSNsports.com.ng understand.
Waldrum specifically mentioned FC Barcelona Feminino attacker Asisat Oshoala, Wuhan Ladie forward Desire Oparanozie and defender Osinachi Ohale who were unable to make the trip to Canada.
The Amerian coach further stated that most of the players that played against Canada will still be on the flight to AWCON but believed that the return of some players is needed to strengthen the team.
" just as you can see, we are trying different players, some other good players like Asisat, Oparanozie, Ohale etc will be joining for AWCON.
It will be a different squad but most of these players will still be in the team selection," Waldrum said.
