Osimhen, Ekong To Arrive Wednesday As Super Eagles Intensify Preparations

African Footballer of The Year, Victor Osimhen and William-Trooist Ekong are expected to join their team mates today (Thursday) in the United Arab Emirates, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Super Eagles in pursuit of their fourth African Nations Cup title started their preparations in Abu Dhabi from where they come to Nigeria and then to Ivory Coast, the venue of the 2023 African Nations Cup.

Victor Osimhen is expected to join the team on Thursday morning while Ekong will arrive later today.

Super Eagles will start today's training at 9:30am and the second one at 6:30pm (UAE time) in preparation for the African most important football competition which commences 13th January will end on 11th February, 2024.

The 2013 African champions will start their AFCON campaign against Equatorial Guinea on 14th January before taking on the hosts, Cote D'Ivoire four days later. The three times African champions will play their last group match against Guinea Bissau on 22nd January at the Felix Boigny Stadium.
