Super Eagles in-form ace Victor Osimhen has confirmed his intention to remain at Galatasaray at least until the end of the current season, putting to rest any speculation about a possible departure in the January transfer window, BSNSports.com.ng has sourced.

Galatasaray's manager, Okan Buruk, reiterated in a recent interview that both the player and the club share this objective.

Osimhen, who is on loan from Napoli, has been a crucial part of Galatasaray's lineup, leading the Turkish league's top-scorers chart with 12 goals in 15 games.

His outstanding performances have played a significant role in keeping the team at the top of the league, which has attracted interest from other clubs wanting to sign him.

However, Buruk assured that the attacker is completely satisfied in Istanbul.

"He is happy here and wants to stay with us until the end of the season," the coach emphasized.

Buruk also highlighted the importance of keeping the Nigerian focused on his performance rather than on any future negotiations.

According to the MundoDeportivo, while Galatasaray hopes to acquire him permanently, the coach insisted that the priority is to create a suitable environment for the striker to continue to excel.
