Osimhen: It's Tough To Stop Icardi And Me

Super Eagles Victor Osimhen has claimed that it would be tough for most defenders in other European clubs to contain his strike partnership with Icardi, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The Galatasaray star made statements after the Europa League six-goal thrilling win against Elfsborg at the Rams Park on Wednesday.

The Nigerian told Gala TV, "We knew it would be difficult. Elfsborg were good in defense. We are happy that we won. We had some scary moments towards the end.

"I couldn't score a goal but the important thing is that the team won. I also congratulate the opponent, they fought well."

On his chemistry with Icardi, Osimhen said, "Playing with Icardi is exciting. He almost made me an assist. He is a great player. Playing with him is extraordinary. I enjoy it. I think that when we play together, no defence will be able to stand against us."
