Osimhen Back On The Scorers Sheet For Galatasaray

Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen returned to the scoresheet for Galatasaray on Saturday, helping the Turkish giants secure a 3-1 away victory over Fatih Karagümrük, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Galatasaray made a fast start to the encounter, with Gabriel Sara opening the scoring in the early minutes of the game.

However, the hosts responded positively and were rewarded midway through the first half when Barış Yılmaz found the equaliser to bring Fatih Karagümrük back on level terms.

After the break, Galatasaray regained control of the match. Sara struck again in the 51st minute to restore his side’s lead before Osimhen sealed the victory four minutes later, calmly converting to score the assurance goal in the 55th minute.

The goal marked Osimhen’s return to scoring form and underlined his growing influence since joining Galatasaray, as the Istanbul club claimed all three points to boost their push at the top end of the Turkish Super Lig table.
