Super Eagles hitman, Victor Osimhen has edged closer to iconic Didier Drogba Galatasaray’s goal record which he achieved during his one year spell with the Turkish giant, bsnsports.com.ng reports.

Going by Wikipedia’s statistics, the Ivory Coast striker, in his heydays, was able to convert 15 goals in 37 appearances for the Lions while Osimhen had so far, netted 12 in his last 15 outings since joining the club in last transfer window on a season loan spell.

With 3 goals away from the legendary striker, Osimhen will be aiming to record more after firing blank in tonight’s 0-1 victory away to Gaziantap FK. 

The lanky striker who has received several enviable accolades since joining from Napoli, has helped Okan Buruk side gathered 57 points in 21 league matches while sitting at the top of the log.
