Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen delivered a standout performance on Sunday, marking a major personal milestone as Galatasaray cruised to a commanding 4–0 victory over Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Osimhen scored his 200th career goal during the encounter, a landmark achieved through 165 goals at club level and 35 strikes for the Nigerian national team. The prolific striker was central to Galatasaray’s dominance and was deservedly named Man of the Match.

The league leaders asserted control early, opening the scoring in the seventh minute when Kayserispor defender Aaron Opoku turned the ball into his own net while attempting to deal with a dangerous cross.

Osimhen doubled Galatasaray’s advantage in the 26th minute, calmly converting a penalty he won himself after being fouled in the area. His influence continued after the break, and in the 60th minute he led a swift counterattack before providing an assist for Gabriel Sara, who finished clinically to make it 3–0.

Galatasaray later earned another spot-kick, which Mauro Icardi dispatched confidently to complete the emphatic win.

The Nigerian international featured for 82 minutes and produced an all-round performance, completing 88 percent of his passes, creating two chances, registering seven shots on target, and contributing a goal and an assist.

Osimhen has now scored 14 goals in 20 appearances across all competitions this season, underlining his consistent impact in attack.

The victory keeps Galatasaray top of the Super Lig standings with 49 points, six clear of rivals Fenerbahce. Kayserispor, meanwhile, remain 17th and continue to battle relegation.

Galatasaray will next turn their attention to the Turkish Cup clash against Istanbulspor, while Kayserispor prepare to face Kocaelispor.
