Osimhen Nets 47th Goal For Napoli, Becomes African Highest Scorer In Serie A

Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was the hero again on Sunday evening in Napoli's narrow win against Fiorentina, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Napoli won the Scudetto during the week after they played out a 1-1 draw against Udinese with Osimhen scoring the equalizer.
The game played at the famous Diego Armando Maradona witnessed fireworks from both teams as the first half ended in a goalless draw.
The second half resumed with the host trying to dominate the game but the away side stood their ground firm and were able to peg back Osimhen and Kvica Kvarashkelia.
Napoli was given a penalty halfway into the second half after Lebotka was brought down by the Fiorentina defender.
Fiorentina's goalkeeper guessed right and saved Osimhen's penalty.
Napoli continued to press and they awarded another penalty after Kvarashekelia was brought down.
The Nigerian forward calmly slotted the ball home and they Napoli a 1-0 victory.
He got a standing ovation from the Napoli fans after he subbed off toward the end of the game.
Osimhen is now the African highest goal scorer in the Italian Serie A with 47 goals.
