Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has identified Okan Buruk and Luciano Spalletti as the two most impactful managers of his professional journey, while expressing confidence in the future of the Super Eagles under Eric Chelle, BSNSports.com.ng reports .

The prolific striker reflected on the coaches who have shaped his development, reserving his highest praise for Buruk and Spalletti.

Speaking about Buruk, Osimhen credited the Turkish manager as a key influence during his time at Galatasaray. He commended Buruk’s humility and motivational ability, describing him as a coach who sets aside personal ego and prepares meticulously for high-profile fixtures. Osimhen noted the tactical discipline and mental focus instilled in the squad ahead of major European clashes against Liverpool F.C., Atletico Madrid, and Juventus F.C..
