Osimhen Strike Lifts Galatasaray Above Ndidi’s Besiktas

Nigerian international Victor Osimhen scored the decisive goal as Galatasaray defeated rivals Beşiktaş JK 1–0 on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The highly anticipated clash saw two Super Eagles stars on opposing sides, with Wilfred Ndidi starting for Besiktas while Osimhen led the attack for Galatasaray.

The visitors eventually found the breakthrough in the 35th minute when Osimhen rose highest inside the box to power home a bullet header, leaving the Besiktas goalkeeper with no chance.

Besiktas pushed forward in search of an equaliser in the second half, with Ndidi playing a key role in midfield, but Galatasaray’s defence held firm to secure all three points.

The victory further strengthens Galatasaray’s position in the league standings, while Osimhen once again proved decisive for the Turkish giants with his match-winning performance.
