Osimhen Takes CAF APOTY Award To His Primary School

 Napoli FC striker, Victor Osimhen visited his Primary School, Olusosun Primary School in Oregun, Ikeja with the African Player Of The Year award, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The Super Eagles striker who missed the twoFIFA World Cup qualifying matches in December 2023 beat other nominees to win the CAF 2023 Men’s Player of the Year award, becoming the first Nigerian to win the award since Nwankwo Kanu in 1999.

His recent visit to the school was disclosed on X.com by a photojournalist, Sulaiman Adebayo, popularly called Pooja.

The caption read, “Victor Osimhen takes his CAF Award to Olusosun Primary School, Ojota, where it all started with street coaches and friends.”

In June 2023, Osimhen had similarly visited the primary school.

He reportedly went to his former classroom, saw his old teacher, and took pictures with the students at the school.

Osimhen future is still unknown as many European top clubs are after his signature.
