Osimhen Targets Maiden Trophy With Galatasaray

Victor Osimhen is eyeing his first silverware with Galatasaray as the Turkish giants prepare to clash with Trabzonspor in the final of the Turkish Cup on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian striker, who has been in sensational form, will be a key figure for Galatasaray in their bid to secure the title.

Osimhen has already netted three goals in the tournament and 33 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions this season.

Head coach Okan Buruk is counting on the prolific forward to lead the charge in what could be a historic week for the club.

 “We have a chance to win two trophies this week. We dream of achieving both,” Buruk said.

“As I mentioned earlier, we’re up against a strong side. Like Fatih Hoca said, they want it just as much, and we’ll have to fight hard.”

Galatasaray now stands just one game away from lifting the coveted Turkish Cup, with Osimhen poised to play a pivotal role.
