Osimhen Undergoes Surgery, Ruled Out For One Month

Turkish Süper Lig giants Galatasaray have confirmed that Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen will undergo surgery on a broken arm and is expected to be sidelined for at least one month, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Osimhen sustained the injury during Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League clash against Liverpool FC, where he was forced off early after picking up the knock.

Medical examinations later confirmed that the 27-year-old striker suffered a fracture in his arm, necessitating immediate surgical intervention. 

Despite the severity of the injury, Osimhen reportedly continued playing for over 30 minutes before being substituted, underlining his determination and commitment to the team.

The development is a significant blow for both Galatasaray and the Nigerian national team, with the forward expected to miss crucial fixtures during his recovery period.
