Osimhen’s Dream Club Is Chelsea- Troost-Ekong Reveals

Super Eagles captain, William Troost-Ekong says Victor Osimhen is a Chelsea fan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Osimhen was close to joining Chelsea in the summer but failed to reach an agreement with the Blues.

Instead, Victor Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal.

According to the report, Chelsea move could, however, be on the horizon with Troost-Ekong’s revelation about the forward’s love for the London club.

“I can tell you he’s a Chelsea fan, I can confirm that,” Troost-Ekong told talkSPORT.

The centre-back also praised Osimhen’s mentality and leadership qualities.

“He’s a great teammate. In front of goal, he can be very greedy, but he’s someone who speaks up for the team in the changing room. He’s a real leader, and I’m sure he’ll be captain soon,” he added.

 “The first time he joined us in 2019, he was the understudy to Odion Ighalo, but during the training, we were so impressed.”
