Owumi, Onyali, Others Named LOC Members For 2026 National Sports Festival

The Chief Operating Officer, COO, of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, Davidson Owumi and former world class athlete, Mary Onyali have been named as members of the Local Organizing Committee for the 2026 National Sports Festival, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Mbah has announced the composition of the LOC for the 23rd National Sports Festival, Enugu 2026.

The LOC Members, according to the Governor were carefully selected for their competence , excellence and exceptional contributions to the Sport sector.

The Local Organising Committee will be chaired by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Enugu state, Lloyd Ike Ekweremadu Jr.

The Committee comprises seasoned sports administrators including the former World class Athlete with extensive international experience; the COO of the NPFL and former General Manager of Enugu Rangers FC, among others.
