Oyedeji Approves Constitution For 2023 Nigeria Olympians Summit

The President of the Nigeria Olympians Association (NOA) Olumide Oyedeji Oly. has approved the constitution of the organizing committee for the Nigeria Olympians Summit taking place July 2023, reports BSNSports.com.ng.
Recall the inaugural Olympians Summit held in 2021 in Abuja was adjudged a success and the Annual General Assembly(AGA) agreed on a bi-annual date for the event thus 2023 became the date for the second gathering of the only Association of champions and the congregation of the finest athletes ever produced by our great country, Nigeria.
Lawrence Iquaibom will chair the 2023 Olympians Summit Organizing Committee while Emmanuel Babayaro MON is co-chairman.
Other Olympians who also constitute the 10-man committee are Victor Ikpeba MON, Hameed Adio, Tijani Babangida MON, Gloria Obajimi, Maureen Madu, Fatima Yusuf and Ruth Obaifor, while Ekuta Catherine Ewa will serve as Secretary.
Oyedeji, further charged the committee to raise the bar from the inaugural summit very high and give the country's great Olympians a summit to be proud of.
He further reiterated his commitment towards supporting the committee with whatever is needed to make their task a resounding success even as he remains proudly confident owing to the calibre and class of the members of the committee.
The committee shall perform its task in synergy with the National Executive Council of the NOA and in consultation shall constitute several other committees as may be necessary to achieve this important Nigeria Olympians Summit.
