Oyo State Lawmaker Appoints Adeola Omotade SA On Sports

One of Nigeria’s top Sports broadcaster and journalist, Adeola Omotade, (Aroleayo Mr Legbegbe) has been appointed as Special Adviser On Sports by the Deputy Chief Whip, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Yusuf Adebisi Oladeni.

The Ibadan South-West Constittuency 1 Lawmaker appointed Legbegbe following his exploits as a broadcaster. 

Adeola who is a versatile broadcast journalist with over 8 years On Air experience started his career at Unique 103.1 Fm Iléṣà, Osun State where he spent almost 5 years as an OAP/Sport Presenter before moving to Radio Nigeria, Gold 95.5 Fm Iléṣà, Osun State where he spent about a year as an OAP.

The PERA 2021 and 2022 award

winning journalist promised to use the new appointment to discharge resounding progress to sports in the constituency.

Omotade started his career at Unique103.1 FM Iléṣà, Osun State where he spent almost 5 years as an OAP/Sport Presenter before moving to Radio Nigeria, Gold 95.5 FM Iléṣà, Osun State.

He later moved to Music and Culture (M&C 106.5 FM) Ondo Town, Ondo State, a station owned by King Sunny Ade.

Omotade also worked at TNT 102.5 FM, Ijagbo Kwara State for about a year before putting pen to paper for Agidigbo FM.

The versatile OAP has won multiple awards, including the prestigious PERA Award for the Best Indigenous Sport Presenter in 2021 and 2022.
