Rasheedat Ajibade has set her sights on winning her first piece of silverware in French football after playing a decisive role in Paris Saint-Germain Féminine’s 3–0 victory over Paris FC Féminines to reach the final of the Coupe LFFP, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Super Falcons captain delivered the final blow in a commanding derby performance, sealing PSG’s second win over their city rivals in less than a week and underlining her growing influence since arriving in France.

The semi-final began cautiously, with both sides probing for openings but struggling to carve out clear chances. Paris FC came closest to breaking the deadlock in the 10th minute when Klaudia Jedlinska’s angled strike rattled the crossbar. PSG, however, absorbed the early pressure and gradually settled into their rhythm.

The contest shifted decisively after the interval. Just two minutes into the second half, Romée Leuchter calmly finished to give PSG the breakthrough, sparking a period of sustained dominance. Merveille Kanjinga extended the advantage on the hour mark, capitalising on PSG’s growing control and leaving Paris FC with a daunting task.

Ajibade completed the scoring in the 89th minute, finding space inside the penalty area before finishing confidently past goalkeeper Tara Elimbi Gilbert. The late goal capped a polished team display and ensured PSG’s progression to the final of the competition’s inaugural edition.

Having joined PSG in 2025 following a successful four-year spell with Atlético Madrid Femenino, Ajibade has adapted swiftly to French football.
