PUMA Becomes Official Outfitter Of Basketball Africa League

Three days before the start of the 2026 season, the Basketball Africa League (BAL) has announced a multi-year partnership with German sportswear giant PUMA, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Under the agreement, which takes effect from March 27 in Pretoria, PUMA will serve as the official outfitter for players, referees, and fans.
The deal represents a strategic move aimed at boosting the growth of basketball across the continent by blending high-performance gear with African cultural identity.
The newly unveiled BAL merchandise will be available online and in official retail stores across South Africa from the start of the season.
BAL President Amadou Gallo Fall described the partnership as a significant milestone in the league’s development.
“Our collaboration with PUMA reflects our shared commitment to elevating the sports industry in Africa, and basketball in particular,” he said. P
