Papa Daniel: Clash Against Lobi Stars Must Win For Tornadoes

Niger Tornadoes mercurial midfielder Papa Daniel has described the North Central showdown against Lobi Stars slated for Bako Kontagora Stadium Minna as a must-win, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In a chat with Tornadoes Media, the former Adanaspor of Turkey star, Papa, said there is no hiding place for the visitors as he and his colleagues are fired up to halt the winless home streak starting this weekend.

"We want to give our fans something to cheer about, it's high time we break the jinx.

" We have had an intensive training session geared towards getting a positive result for our teeming supporters." 

The Ikon Allah Boys are winless at home in the current campaign after being held by Nasarawa United and Bendel Insurance to a draw, respectively, and Daniel believes with the high spirit in camp, his teammates are condemned to get a vital result on Sunday.

"We have held talks as a team, both within ourselves and with the technical crew, on how important a win is for the team this weekend, and we have resolved to go all out for the maximum points.

"We know how it feels for the fan to not have experienced home victory yet after a long while, but they should not fret; all we expect is their maximum support from the beginning of the match till the end."
