The number of Team Nigeria athletes for the upcoming Olympics continues to soar as Temitope Adeshina secured picks Olympics ticket, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Competing at the famous NCAA Championship in the United States, the youngster set a Nigeria national record of 1.97m in the women's high jump.

Apart from surpassing the international and required standard of the Olympics, she is almost equal to the 2-meter jump.

Despite the achievement, she only finished in the 3rd position behind Rose Yeboah who finished in the first position.
