Paris 2024: Botswana Erupts As Tebogo Returns Home

The whole of Botswana erupted on Tuesday following the return of the Olympic Games gold medalist Leslie Tebogo, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Tebogo surprised the whole world in the 200 meters final clinching the gold medal at the expense of the much established athletes like Noah Lyles. Tebogo and the 4x100m relay team where given a heroes welcome today, over 30,000 people filled Botswana's national stadium. Tebogo won the country first Olympic gold medal and also Africa first Olympic 200m gold medal.
