Paris 2024: D'Tigress Were Too Physical - Aussie Forward

After suffering a shocking defeat to Nigeria's D'Tigress, Australia forward Alanna Smith has admitted that they failed to rise to the physicality of the game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite ranking 3rd in the power rankings, the Opal suffered a 62-75 defeat to Nigeria.

" We turned the ball over way too much and we were not ready to step up to the physicality of the game.

" Turning the ball over though was the crux of the game", she said.

Australia will face the host France in the second game while Nigeria play Canada.
