Brazilian forward Gabi Nunes has expressed her happiness after scoring against Nigeria, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The South American giants edged Nigeria's Super Falcons by a lone goal in Bordeaux on Thursday.

Gabi Nunes netted the only goal of the game in the 37th minute and ensured a maximum points for her country.

“I am very, very happy with this game. It was a difficult game, but this team is amazing, we trained a lot to play a good game,” the forward was quoted by FIFA media.

“I’m happy with the goal, to be able to help our team, and now we have to rest and enjoy this moment.”
