Super Falcons assistant coach, Justin Madugu took charge of the Nigeria senior women's national team training on Monday and Tuesday ahead of today's 2024 Olympics qualifier first leg game against Ethiopia, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Former Super Eagles star, Ann Chijiene served as Madugu's assistant in the build up to the Wednesday encounter with the Ethiopians.

Super Falcons Head Coach, Randy Waldrum who is also the Head Coach of Pittsburgh Panthers – the University of Pittsburgh women’s soccer team – will not honour the two legs of the Super Falcons 2024 Olympics Games qualifying matches against Ethiopia because  of his team busy schedule and also inability to finalise his contract extension with the Nigeria Football Federation.

The first leg Olympics qualifying match will kick off at 3:30 pm Ethiopia time and 1:30 pm Nigeria time. The game is slated for the Abebe Bekila Stadium in the Ethiopian capital city.

CAF has named Kindedji Edoh as Center referee and will be assisted by her compatriots, Agbedanu Abra Sitofe, Awoutey Kossiwa Kayigan, and Amedome Vincentia Enyonam for the match.
