Paris 2024: Oborodudu Suffers Defeat

The dream of Blessing Oborodudu winning a gold medal at the ongoing Olympic Games in Paris has become an illusion, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Competing in the women’s freestyle 68kg category, the African champions started the day on a sound note beating their Canadian opponent in the first round and later edging out a France opponent in the quarter final.

She confronted a stronger opponent in the semi final and she suffered to Kyrgyzstan's Meerim Zhumanazarova, 3-1 on points.

Oborodudu is expected to compete for bronze medal match on Tuesday.
