Paris 2024: Spain Hand Invite To Nigerian Forward

Ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics, the manager of the Spanish team on Wednesday released the list of players for the ancient games, Nigeria-born Samu Omorodion featured prominently on the list, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Athletico Madrid forward was born in Melilla, Spain to Nigerian parents.

The coach listed 22 players which also includes the duo of Fermin Lopez and Alejandro Baena who are representing Spain at the ongoing Euro 2024.

Omorodion's performance with Getafe last season attracted several suitors including English Premier League side Chelsea.

The lanky attacker is still eligible to represent Nigeria's Super Eagles in future engagements.
