Sampson Adedeji
Paris FC Sporting Director, François Ferracci, has shed light on the club’s decision to sign Nigerian international, Moses Simon, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Ligue 1 newcomers confirmed Simon’s arrival on Wednesday, with the winger putting pen to paper on a three-year deal following his departure from FC Nantes.
Ferracci expressed his delight at securing the experienced forward, revealing that Simon chose Paris FC despite receiving offers from more established clubs.
“We are thrilled to welcome Moses. He was a top priority for us, and he demonstrated real enthusiasm for our project, even with several other offers on the table. His qualities will significantly improve our efficiency in different areas,” Ferracci told the club’s official website.
Simon becomes the first Nigerian player to sign for Paris FC. The 29-year-old spent six successful seasons at Nantes, where he scored 37 goals and provided 42 assists in 201 appearances.
