Nigeria’s D’Tigress are set to face Australia’s Opals in their Olympics Women’s Basketball Tournament Group B opener at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Monday.

As underdogs, D’Tigress aim to secure their first Olympic win in 20 years, representing African basketball with determination and resilience.

Head coach Rena Wakama will rely heavily on star forward Amy Okonkwo, MVP of the FIBA Women’s Afrobasket 2023, and the returning Ezinne Kalu, a proven leader and playmaker.
