Paris Olympics: Ofili To Strike Gold At 8.40pm, Drawn In 200m Final Lane 9

Favour Ofili could strike Team Nigeria's first medal in the track and field as she's is billed to race in the women's 200m final at 8.40pm at the purple track Stade de France, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Ofili, has also been drawn in lane 9 for the race.  

Current women's 100m Olympic champion Julien Alfred of St Lucia is in lane 8 and Gabby Thomas of the United States in lane 7 will both be chasing her when the gun goes off. 

Recall, Ofili finished 2nd in Monday's semi-final with a Season's Best of 22.05s, just behind Julien Alfred who won the race, crossing the line in a time of 21.98s.
