Paris Olympics: Opeyori Crashes Out

The hope of Nigeria's Badminton star Anuoluwapo Opeyori to bounce back to winning ways in the ongoing men's singles event at the Olympic Games in Paris has been dashed, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian star lost his opening game on Tuesday and focused on Wednesday's game.

The game on Wednesday failed to go according to plan when Opeyori faced 6th ranked Li Shi Feng of China, as he lost again 2-0 (21-17, 21-17).

The result means Opeyori, who is also the Captain of Team Nigeria, is out of the 2024 Olympic Games.
