Paris Olympics: Rasheedat Ajibade Disappointed With Super Falcons Elimination

Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade has expressed disappointment after the elimination of the team at the Paris Olympics, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Against much expectation, the Super Falcons failed to fly in their final match of Group C of the Paris 2024 Women’s Olympic Football Tournament. 

Their 1-3 loss to the Asians turned out to be their biggest loss of the tournament, and they returned home without a point from their first outing at the Olympics in 16 years.

A disappointed Ajibade said, "It was a disappointing outcome in the end for the team after three tough tests against some of the best football teams in the world."

The Skipper went further to appreciate everyone for their support, saying, "We thank you for your endless love and support. We appreciate every one of you."

Super Falcons departed the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament in France without making a single point and scoring only one goal in their three matches.
