Paris Olympics: Sports Minister Hails Nigeria's Unity In Diversity

Minister of Sports Development, John Enoh has expressed immense pride in Nigeria's vibrant and confident display at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

He stated that it reflects the power of "Naija" and the strength of our diversity as a nation.

Team Nigeria arrived in style at La Grande Seine for the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics. 

The team, led by flagbearer Tobi Amusan and general captain Anuoluwapo Opeyori, defied the rain to showcase their spirit and enthusiasm.

A total of 88 Team Nigeria athletes, comprising 63 women and 25 men, will compete in 12 sports at the Paris Olympics. 

The 2024 Games, which will run from July 26 to August 11, will feature 10,714 athletes from 206 countries.
