Paris Olympics: Team Nigeria Picks Ticket In Mixed 4×400M

Team Nigeria have qualified for the Olympics in the Mixed 4x400m, getting an automatic ticket at the World Relays, finishing 2nd in their heat with a time of 3:13.79, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The quartet of Samuel Ogazi, Ella Onojuvwevwo, Chidi Okezie and Esther Elo Joseph brought round the baton to ensure Nigeria is guaranteed a place at the Olympics, finishing 2nd behind Team USA who won in a Championship Record of 3:11.52.

The Nigerian mixed 4x400m relay team becomes the country's first relay team to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
