Paul Offor Announced As New Akwa United Head Coach

Akwa United has hired the services of Coach Paul Offor as the new Head Coach of the team, BNSports.com.ng reports.
The former Sporting Lagos gaffer who guided the Lagos based team to Nigeria Premier Football league in 2023-24 season has since started work in Uyo and he is currently preparing the Promise Keepers for the upcoming 2025-26 Nigeria National League season.
Coach Offor will be assisted by coach Tosin Adekugbe, coach Okechukwu Promise, coach Bassey Akpan and coach Akarandut Orok in the club's technical team.
Meanwhile, Governor Umo Eno has directed the immediate return of Akwa United to the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Governor Eno noted that a football club at the level of Akwa United should not be playing in the lower division and promised to ensure the team gets the needed attention and support to return to the elite division.
