Sporting Lagos moved closer to clinching the Nigeria National League Super 4 title after recording a second consecutive victory at the ongoing tournament in Ikenne, Ogun State, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Following their narrow 1–0 win over Ranchers Bees in the opening fixture, Sporting Lagos produced a dominant display to defeat Doma United 4–0 on Wednesday.

Winger Seun Akanji opened the scoring before Shola Oladunjoye doubled the advantage shortly after halftime, reacting quickest to a loose ball following an effort from Victor Samuel.

Team captain Solomon Uloko then capped an impressive performance with two late goals to seal an emphatic victory for the Lagos-based side.

The result leaves Sporting Lagos top of the Super 4 standings with a maximum six points from two matches, placing them firmly in control of the race to be crowned overall champions of the Nigeria National League.

Elsewhere, Inter Lagos recovered from their opening-day defeat to Doma United by securing a 2–0 victory over Ranchers Bees.

The defeat marked a second straight loss for Ranchers Bees, who remain bottom of the standings with a negative goal difference despite already securing promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Doma United currently occupy third position after their earlier win over Inter Lagos.

Attention now turns to the decisive final round of fixtures, where Sporting Lagos will face Inter Lagos in a crucial Lagos derby.

Sporting Lagos require only a draw to secure the Super 4 title, while Inter Lagos must win convincingly and hope results elsewhere favour them. Doma United also remain mathematically in contention heading into the final matches.
