Peseiro Hail CAF POTY Queen Oshoala, Super Falcons

Nigeria's Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has hailed Asisat Oshoala for winning the African player of the Year award and Super Falcons of Nigeria for securing their place in the next FIFA Women World Cup, BSNsports.com.ng reports.
Oshoala was on Thursday evening in Morocco announced as the Women African Player of the year for a record five times, thus surpassing former Falcons legend Perpetual Nkwocha.
The Super Falcons on it's part, defeated the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in the quarter-final of the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations in Morocco to book their place in 2023 FIFA Women World Cup that will be co-host by Australia and New Zealand.
The Portuguese gaffer on Friday afternoon heaped praises on the team and also on the FC Barcelona Femino forward
"With hard work and persistence, we can reap the rewards.
"Congratulations to Asisat Oshoala for winning her fifth CAF's Women's Player of the Year award and to the Nigerian national team for reaching their ninth consecutive World Cup.
"The whole country is proud of all of you," he said.
