Peseiro Rejects Kayserispor's Offer

Former Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, has turned down an offer to manage Turkish club Kayserispor, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Peseiro, 64, reportedly held discussions with Kayserispor but ultimately decided not to take up the managerial role, as stated by Portuguese news outlet A Bola.

The coach has been a free agent since March 2024, following the expiration of his contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

In the wake of Peseiro’s decision, Kayserispor has opted to hire Bosnian coach Sergej Jakirovic, who will sign a one-and-a-half-year deal with the club.
