Super Eagles Head Coach, Jose Peseiro has charged players of Plateau United to be brave against Esperance Sportive of Tunisia, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Peseiro today (Saturday) paid an unscheduled visit to the camp of Plateau United at their Ramada Hotel in Tunis ahead of the second leg of the final qualifying round of the CAF Champions League against the Tunisian giants.

The Portuguese who breezed into the hotel when the team was having breakfast at 8:00 am, was received on arrival by the Plateau State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Daniel Dung Dalyop and his predecessor, Victor Lapang as well as the Plateau United General Manager, Plateau United.

The Super Eagles manager who had breakfast with the team later interacted with the players he gave them some encouraging words.

"Congratulations on your victory in the first leg. You people did well by recording a victory against four-time Champions League winner in Abuja and I salute you for that feat, the Portuguese coach said.

" Today's match is going to be different because Esperance is a big club. So don't be afraid of them. Come out and play your game. Approaching the match with confidence, he concluded.

This is the second time the Portuguese will be visiting the team, after doing so when the Peace Boys played Akwa United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo in an NPFL encounter last season.

The Super Eagles Coach is expected to proceed to Morocco on Sunday as Rivers United will be up against champions, Wydad Casablanca.

Both teams managed to beat the North Africans by an identical scoreline of 2-1 in the first leg, as they needed to avoid defeat to secure their passage to the money-spinning group stage of the competition.
