Peterside Idah: I'm Authentic NFF President Following Gusau's Exit

Former NFF Presidential candidate Peterside Idah claims he should now assume the role of the “authentic president” of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) after Ibrahim Gusau’s resignation, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Idah, who ran for NFF President as the second candidate, argues that he is next in line and deserves the leadership position.

In an interview with Brila FM, he stated, "They should hand over the position to me now. I'm the second in line. I contested as number two. They should ‎hand over to me. I should be the authentic president now of the NFF."

Recall that on Thursday, Gusau announced his resignation as NFF President with immediate effect during a World Press Conference.

He also mentioned that he is unaware of which members of his cabinet have also resigned.
