Plumptre Excited To Make Super Falcons Return After Injury Layoff

Ittihad Ladies of Saudi Arabia defender, Ashleigh Plumptre has expressed excitement to return for the Super Falcons after returning from injury, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Plumptre returned to action for the Super Falcons after a long injury layoff in the 2-1 lost to France in an international friendly game in Angers.

An excited Plumptre posted on her X handle saying: "A long road back but happy to be with this bunch again."

The defender spent around six months on the sidelines after undergoing surgery for a foot injury in April and returned to action for her Saudi club, Al Ittihad in October.
