Plumptre Happy To Represent Nigeria Against Japan

Nigeria's Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre has expressed her happiness after taking part in an international friendly against Japan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 9-time African champions last week played against former World champions Japan in Kobe and Leicester City's defender was present in the game.

Despite losing the game, Plumptre cherished the experience and promised much will still come from the Nigeria side.

" Thank you, Japan. Always grateful for another opportunity to play for this team, with these women.
