Super Eagles are set to resume training on Saturday as preparations intensify for their second international friendly against Jordan on Tuesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The team heads into the session buoyed by a 2–1 victory over Iran on Friday, their first outing since the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Goals from Moses Simon and Akor Adams handed Nigeria a two-goal advantage before Iran pulled one back late in the match.

Attention has now shifted to the upcoming fixture against Jordan, with the coaching crew keen to build on the positives from the Iran encounter. Training is expected to focus on tactical adjustments and further integration of players as the team continues its preparations.

Despite missing out on qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the technical bench has utilized the current FIFA international window to evaluate new invitees and strengthen squad cohesion ahead of future competitions.

Nigeria will take on Jordan on Tuesday, March 31, with kickoff scheduled for 8:00 pm.
