Nine-time African champions, Super Falcons of Nigeria, overpowered their West African neighbours, Ghana, in a friendly ahead of the WAFCON in Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Super Falcons defeated the Black Queens of Ghana 3-1 in their last tune-up game, held in Casablanca, Morocco.

Chiwendu Ihezuo had opened the scoring in the 34th minute before Asisat Oshoala calmly slotted home from the spot inside the 44th minute.

Skipper of the side, Rasheedat Ajibade increased the tally for the Nigeria side with a clinical finish before Alice Kusi got the consolation for the Black Queens.

Nigeria’s first match of the 13th Africa Cup of Nations finals will be against Tunisia’s senior women's national team at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca on Sunday, 6th July, before other games against Botswana and Algeria in the group phase.
