Premier League; Awoniyi Back To Scoring Ways In Nottingham Forest Defeat
Sampson Adedeji
It was a mixed feeling for Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Taiwo Awoniyi as his goal counted for little in Nottingham Forest's defeat to West Ham United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
At the Olympic Stadium in London, Brazilian International Paqueta put West Ham United ahead in the 6th minute before Awoniyi equalized at the stroke of halftime.
Elanga put Forest ahead in the 63rd minute before Jarron Bowen restored parity for the host.
Tomas Soucek netted the winning goal in the 88th minute to secure maximum points for the host.
Despite the defeat, Awoniyi has now scored 4 league goals this season for Forest.
