Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo has expressed his joy over the outstanding performance of Nigerian international Taiwo Awoniyi BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The club continued with its strong run in the Premier League, securing a 3-0 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night at the Molineux Stadium.

Awoniyi sealed the win with the third goal in the second half, earning praise from his coach and teammates.

Santo shared his excitement about the striker, noting that the entire team was thrilled for him.

 “There’s a lot of happiness. We were delighted, especially his teammates, who were excited for him. You could see the joy in the way he celebrated and even in the dressing room,” Santo said after the match.

“We need him, and although it’s taking some time, we’re very happy for him. He deserves everything. He’s such a great person.”

Awoniyi is expected to be in action again this weekend when Forest faces Luton Town in the FA Cup.
