Premier League: Iwobi Urges Fulham to Move On After Defeat To West Ham

Alex Iwobi has advised Fulham not to linger on their London derby loss to West Ham United BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Whites suffered a frustrating 3-2 defeat to Graham Potter's side at the London Stadium on Tuesday night, despite Iwobi's brace for Marco Silva’s team.

The Nigeria international encouraged his teammates to quickly bounce back from the setback.

“We’re all disappointed with how we lost – it was just down to mistakes,” Iwobi told Fulham TV. "If we had avoided those errors, we could have won. But there's another game ahead, so we can’t dwell on it. We need to shake it off and move forward."

“We created plenty of chances and even hit the post twice, but in the Premier League, if you don’t defend as a team, you’ll be punished.”

Iwobi has netted seven goals and provided three assists so far this season.

Fulham are currently in ninth place on the Premier League table with 30 points.
