Onuachu moved to the Saint Mary's Stadium on the deadline day of the winter transfer window and the club was able to secure his work permit late on Friday evening.
Ben Mee and Nbeumo put Brentford ahead in the first half of the game before Onuachu was introduced in the 46th minute of the game.
