Premier League: Rodgers Gives Update On Ndidi

The manager of the English Premier League side Leicester City Brendan Rodgers has given an update on injured Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The energetic midfielder was one of the players that arrived early at the camp of Nigeria's Super Eagles in Constantine, Algeria for the international friendly match but had to pull out due to injury.

He returned to the King Power Stadium in England on time to begin his recovery and the manager of the team gave a positive report about him on Friday.

"We had Wilfred Ndidi come back early and is looking positive and trained this morning so hopefully, he will be fine", he told the club media

The Foxes will continue their search for their first win of the season on Monday when they face Nottingham Forest at home.
